Our main focus when we started The Four Foods Group in 2008 was to become a job creator. There is nothing like seeing the excitement out of a newly hired employee. Their confidence is boosted. Their passion for improvement and self-mastery kicks in. Their entire overlook on life changes for the better. And we are a small part of that happening. Our goal is to provide more than 2,000 jobs by 2014 within our companies, and we are getting there in a hurry!

The Four Foods Group was formed through the natural evolution of business relationships. Many of us worked with each other in the past. Others have been referred to us by valuable relationships we have in the industry. At the end of the day, our group is experienced. They are sharp. They are smart. And they do not understand that term “take it slow and easy.” Every day is a dash to the next level of our mission for growth. For that reason, any challenges we face, we face them with great excitement and optimism.

In the fall of 2008, Andrew and Shauna Smith embarked on their first restaurant ownership experience. They always had a love and appreciation for Kneaders Bakery & Café, a Utah Valley staple, and one of Shauna’s favorite restaurants. Therefore, it made sense to have Kneaders be the brand, company and vehicle to accomplish their goal. Having a background in technology, marketing, sales and finance, Andrew saw this industry as a challenge, and wanted to figure out a better way to develop a multi-unit restaurant chain with efficiencies that would create a sure way for profits. His past business experiences lead him to create a partnership model that would benefit not only Four Foods Group and its shareholders, but their operator-partners as well.

In early 2009, after successfully operating their first Kneaders Bakery & Café for a period of 6 months, Andrew and Shauna approached the founders of Kneaders, Gary and Colleen Worthington, to form a long-standing partnership. An exclusive multi-state development agreement was executed between Four Foods Group and GCW Corporation, parent company to Kneaders Bakery & Café.

Today, Four Foods Group is laser focused on this multi-state territory, namely the Utah, Colorado, Arizona and Nevada markets. 2009 thru 2012 have been focused on Utah developments with an addition of 13 new stores to the Kneaders brand, by end of 2012. An additional 10 stores are slated in Colorado and Arizona in 2013. 2014 will be the great state of Nevada with 4-6 stores, with an additional 6-8 stores in Arizona and Colorado.

We need more good people! We can only grow with other strong players being added to our team. Therefore, if you, or someone you know, could be a possible candidate to partner and operate one of our restaurants, please contact us, or submit your information via our online application.

We are also constantly looking for the perfect sites for our business. If you are a developer, real estate agent, or simply a landowner that is interested in having us consider your proposal for a Kneaders restaurant, please contact us. Or submit your information and proposal to us at info@fourfoodsgroup.com.
